Going to the Gulf? Do it safely

  • Use only agents licensed on eMigrate, and never pay large “visa” or “job” fees.
  • Travel only on an employment visa stamped in your passport — never on a tourist or visit visa.
  • Keep your passport yourself, and refuse any second contract with lower pay.
  • Take the free Pre-Departure Orientation Training before you fly.
  • Buy the low-cost Pravasi Bharatiya Bima Yojana insurance, and save the MADAD grievance portal and embassy helplines.

How we chose these jobs

We combined large recent studies: the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025, the India Skills Report 2026, TeamLease’s hiring outlook for 2026–27, CEEW’s clean-energy jobs study, the Union Budget 2026-27, and reports on Gulf recruitment. We then kept jobs that young people can realistically enter with an ITI, a short course, a diploma or a degree.

Demand changes with the economy, so we review this page regularly. Before you invest time and money, check current openings and talk to people already doing the work.
